Smart Event Badge Issuance — From Centralized Printing to On-Site Self-Service
An event organizer in China integrated P65 into its badge issuance system. After registration and approval, badge data is automatically sent to desktop P65 printers for on-demand printing and RFID encoding. The system automatically selects the correct badge template based on credential type.
Compared with outsourcing pre-produced badges to a card manufacturer, this approach provides greater flexibility, faster turnaround and lower operational costs, especially when attendee information changes close to the event.
For on-site issuance, P65 print modules are also integrated into self-service kiosks, allowing approved attendees to instantly print and receive their badges at the venue.
