| Positive results from Secutech Thailand’s roundtable discussion and seminar |

| Following the success of the “New Landscape for Thailand: Security and Safety 2.0” held in October 2010, Secutech Thailand held another pre-show event: a roundtable discussion entitled “Take a Closer Look at Thailand’s Market” and a seminar called “Eyes on IP Surveillance.” The event was held in Bangkok on 25 – 26 January and was attended by 100 delegates including six trade media, making it a professional platform for information exchange and business networking.

The two-day event kicked off with two insightful sessions of roundtable discussion. Key distributors and channel players such as AverMedia, Bangkok OA Coms, CBC, Chubb, Firetide, LG, Semple Cochrane and Thai Secom Pitakkij shed light on the future of the Thai security market. Generally, all participants expressed high confidence in the growth of the Thai security market; while at the same time, they felt that the market lacks education and transparency.
